Bought the 950-111 tool setter because one is Mitutoyo and two because it has a machined Z-height plane from the face of the tool setter to the top of the workpiece. This makes it easy and straightforward to get the Z-axis tool offset value for your workpiece. The only problem is that when you set the tool offset on the machine, the machined face of the adjuster that dips into the dial indicator gets stuck at about 1,000 inches. So sometimes you have to press on the setter's face to release it. It's not a big deal, but it's worth paying attention to.
