I love this chair. The seat pad is a little stiffer than expected (wasn't entirely sure why I expected it to be plush), but the measurements and contours suit me. I'm 6ft 1in, 250lbs and was looking for a chair that I could use for hours. The back and seat of this chair have a fixed angle and the posture is comfortable, allowing me to recline a little while reading or lean forward when working intensively with a spreadsheet or program. So far I haven't worn my darkest jeans while using this chair, so I don't know if color transfer is a big issue. I have a Herman Miller Aeron in my office and this chair can easily sit for up to 12 hours. This chair - I wouldn't use it for more than six, but 12 hour comfort wasn't a requirement of my purchase. It's well designed, looks solid, and is a great addition to my home office. It took a little to assemble, but four or five steps can be completed in about 15 minutes.
