Review on Motorad 439 180 Thermostat by Darby Perkins

Bought for my old 99 disco. It's well built. At one point I got worried when it fell off the shelf from about 6 feet onto the concrete garage floor. It jumped a few times. I was sure I hacked it, but no. Everything was good. Installed the next day with no problems. As far as I can tell this is a great OEM replacement. I was having cooling issues and wanted to rule out the thermostat. Of course he got stuck. These thermostats don't like sealant. I also upgraded the hose clamps in the process. That's all. It works and is strong enough to withstand a 6 foot drop onto concrete.
