Review on 🍳 3.8 Quart Puricon Enameled Cast Iron Casserole Braiser Pan - Red, Ceramic Enamel Skillet with Lid and Dual Handles: Ideal for Cooking and Serving by Carol Long

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Reinforced baker's and casserole pan

Pros: -Heats quickly and evenly -Retains heat well even after you've left the stove -Strong and heavy cast iron skillet -Although the food I cooked was a little burnt, it was very easy with boiled water and dish soap to clean. - The metal part of the lid gets very hot, I touched it with an oven mitt and it was still very hot through gloves - After a bit of use, the ceramic on the lid cracked a bit. But the metal underneath seems intact. Overall I love this pan and it's a versatile choice for cooking a variety of dishes! I was relieved that it doesn't leave a lot of residue when cleaning, unlike other cast iron skillets that can easily soil sponges and towels. This cast iron skillet turned out to be much larger than I expected, very heavy and strong. This is a great choice for roasting meat and cooking various dishes!
