New weighted blanket in our home. This is for my mother who has been living with Alzheimer's for many years. Now she has to stay in bed all the time. Recently, an occupational therapist who is helping with physical issues recommended a weighted blanket, especially at a time when Mom is clearly stressed. So far this heavy blanket had comforted her. I haven't used it during night sleeps but during the day when she gets very restless at times. I am very happy with the results so far.
