Review on Deerma DEM-F628S EU Aroma Air Humidifier, white by Ivana Gogolova ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Nothing special, there are positive and negative sides.

Since October 2022, I have been using a humidifier that I purchased from Amazon. Ru. The model number is DEM-F630 (DEM-F628S), and the seller is DIHAUS LLC. I got a discount of 2,170 off the list price by purchasing the humidifier through Amazon. Because of the flavoring function, I opted for this model, and I'm very disappointed. NOT WORKING AT ALL! There's nothing I can say about the UV lamp because I never turn it on. I'm unable to verify her claims. Since I don't have a thermometer or a humidity-measuring equipment at home, I have no way to verify the accuracy of the Humidifier's readouts, despite the fact that using one typically results in more comfortable heating conditions than going without. A 5-liter tank is excessive for my needs; a 3-liter tank would be plenty for a single night's stay and would be much easier to transport from the kitchen to the bedroom. Because of the flavoring's intended purpose, the ratings dropped.

Pros
  • With so many options, I was able to find the one that suited me best (especially because puddles tend to form in huge quantities). Air temperature and humidity are reflected on a screen (I didn't double-check the data, but the screen's readings did fluctuate over time). At a medium intensity and relative humidity of 50–55 percent, 5 liters of water will last for two to three nights. Machine weight is 5 liters lighter when empty. It does its job with nary a peep, sounding more like the gurgling of water or crickets. In the year 2022, there will be a directive. Plug into a 2022 socket with no worries. The humidifier's cord is a standard length, and I set it on a stool. When the water supply is depleted, it automatically shuts off with a resounding squeal.
Cons
  • One: the flavoring function is a letdown. NOT WORKING! In just a few days, the oil will have totally evaporated from the container, leaving behind no lingering scent. When I used my previous humidifier, a Polaris PUH 7130, the room rapidly became permeated by the scent of essential oils. Oil could be the culprit, but why it worked in Polaris but not here is baffling. 2) I find it inconvenient, like with the prior humidifier, that there is no water in the tank, but there is plenty in the bowl, so you may splash it. Thirdly, when using maximum humidification (I use the humidifier on my stool because it's more convenient), puddles of water form on both the device and the stool. Maybe this is the standard, and it's why I've settled on this configuration. 4) When he alerts that the water has run out and that he shuts it off, it squeaks loudly and for a long time (maybe it appeared to me, of course, because it happened at night, and I was asleep), and it also squealed extremely long and loudly when the timer was set to switch off. At night, when I'm fast asleep, something squeaks loudly, and I awake with a start. Now, I don't bother setting the timer (not that I really need one) and I don't even let a trickle of water through all night.
