I chose this item specifically because a reviewer complained that the light was yellowish instead of white. This is EXACTLY what you need for night lighting and really ANY indoor lighting. Many manufacturers and consumers mistakenly choose the bluish color of daylight. That's what you DON'T WANT. The bluish light indoors in the evening completely disrupts your natural circadian rhythm. You are very unhealthy. You need 2700K warm white light. Never use 4000K daylight (except MORNING, for therapeutic use ONLY). What I like about it is the warm white color (it's still white but without the excessive blue). Turns on in the dark; turns off automatically during the day. Rechargeable/detachable from the wall for lighting while dimming. What's OK -- The light is dim, but it only has two settings. A bright setting is about 1.5 times brighter than a dark setting. I use it when there is a power outage. If it had more steps I would actually set it a bit darker as there is still more than enough light to walk the hallway and stairs comfortably. I wish it had a different dimmer setting, but that's a really minor touch as I want it to be only 25% dimmer.
