Review on π Optimized Motorcraft YG360 Vacuum Inspection Switch by Joshua Talbot
Remove the valve and check both ends for vacuum. Only one end should be full vacuum.
Fixed issue with 4x4. The first symptoms were "metal loops" (the IWE was not vacuuming and the IWE was not fully/completely seated). Next came the difficulty turning in sharp turns. would have gone. Replaced both IWEs only to have the same or similar symptoms. After that I checked the check valves and found a leak in the check valve. Replace the valve and boom! Corrected!.
