These gloves are very comfortable and nice looking. The 3M Thinsulate lining is excellent, and combined with the insulation of the glove and the glove shell, it’s already a warm and water resistant glove. But when you turn on the heating elements, your hands will be warm no matter how cold it is.The battery life when the gloves are on the low setting was an amazing 8 hrs 57 mins one glove and 6 hrs 30 mins for the other.The battery life when the gloves are on the medium setting was a little under 4 hours for each.Charging the completely depleted batteries took 5 hrs 12 mins. There’s a light on the charger (included) that goes from red to green when charging is complete.There are 4 white light bars on the gloves under the lighted on/off button. Those 4 lights are fully lit when you turn the gloves on when the batteries are full. One by one, those lights will flash and turn off as the batteries lose power, so you will have an idea of how much heating time you have left.The pads on the index fingers allowed for me to easily work my phone and other touch screens. It would be great if the middle fingers had the same pads, too – but nothing I couldn’t work around by using both index fingers.The gloves also provided excellent protection from the cold wind when riding on my motorcycle, so these heated gloves will allow me to ride with comfort in weather that I would normally not want to ride in. Also, the white trim on the tops of the gloves is reflective, which is a nice safety feature I didn't expect.
