I bought them for use on my Kubota tractor when it's being moved on a car transporter trailer and also for use on my road pole when I'm towing it. My original intention was to attach them around the axle tubes and use them as "soft hooks" to avoid scratching the paint on the axle tubes, but I've also used them in the same way to attach ratchet straps to the trailer . which worked great as it offers a much more secure connection. I wish I had bought them sooner!
