Review on BESTEK Inverter Converter Adapter Thinner by Sean Webb

Loud fan when first turned on

If I leave the unit in my car overnight to charge my work laptop on the way between meetings the next day, I'll find it the first time I I turn around at the charger. The tiny internal fan makes an awful noise like it's running out of bearings, even though it's mostly new and has only been used a handful of times. Within a minute or two, the noise disappears, but eventually it fails, and in the future the device may overheat if it is operated for some time with a decent load in the summer. Like any other 150w cigarette lighter adapter, most laptop chargers will overload and protect the device unless the laptop is off and you are using a derated charger (65w output, not 85, 90 or 130). The power these chargers require is much more than what they put out to a laptop, so the 65W Dell adapters are the best option (the device will protest if it's not getting enough power while it's running, so it slows down but still charges). . battery in a dream). Not sure why the input cable to the charger is also detachable, just another thing to unplug or lose.
