Review on Dorman 902 3036 Coolant Thermostat Housing by John Beltran
The thermostat has an air vent that must be opened when charging the system. .
Check engine code for thermostat error. Ordered this, 1 gallon coolant and a drain pan. Disconnect the battery negative cable, open the radiator drain, remove the air chamber, loosen the 2 fastening screws of the thermostat, remove the thermostat, loosen the clamp, remove the thermostat from the hose, install a new thermostat. Look for a self-closing funnel, it makes bleeding the system a lot easier!
