Review on Dancing Bear Educational Magnifying Collection by Ryan Bennett

My 4 year old dinosaur addict loved it. He took his "collection" to show and tell about in preschool every time since Christmas. The sorting aspect of this kit was great too. Doing things with him and letting him sort and identify seemed to give him a greater sense of accomplishment and ownership than just giving him them. We also cross-checked the physical fossils with images and information from his dinosaur encyclopedias and other books to corroborate the information. Most of the details are very small, but that doesn't make them any less interesting. The large pieces are beautifully presented and of course "eye-catching pieces" but the small pieces are a great way to introduce young children to the idea that all things have value and purpose. It was beautifully packaged and I love the dancing bear message. I would recommend this set and other Dancing Bear products.
