Review on πŸ”Œ Enhanced SEO: Litcessory 6-Pin to Cut-End Connector for Philips Hue Lightstrip Plus (4 Pack, White - MICRO 6-PIN V4) by Mike Roberts

Exactly what we were hoping for

We're so glad we found them Philips Hue light strips are expensive and if you cut them in half you'll want to use the other half. These connectors worked exactly as promised. We read the instructions and watched videos about it before purchasing and again before installing. I was afraid we'd screw it up and end up with a useless $60 light bar, but if you have basic renovation skills, this shouldn't be a problem at all. Tools needed: Razor blade, needle nose pliers and cutting board (which is why we didn't mark our meters). also cut at the solder joints (we didn't have good scissors). This is important information - you should cut where Litcessory's instructions tell you to cut, NOT where Philips tells you to cut. So you can use both ends to connect. After cutting the lightstrip, we used a razor blade to slightly pry the metal contact points in the open Litcessory connector, slide the lightstrip under the contact points until it stopped sliding, and then shorted the connector over the lightstrip. It didn't close completely and then we used our needle nose pliers to push in with more force to latch it. The connector has a plastic latch on the side. It was very helpful that the plug can be easily converted to a plug or socket. Overall I would definitely buy them again. What a great, great help it was that they were available to solve a problem that Philips should have given us a solution for! Thank you Litcessory!
