This is a great idea and this particular model is solid and easy to install (you'll need a drill and a spirit level). There are a few things holding me back from getting 5 stars: 1) I ordered a brushed nickel and the finish is charcoal. It really doesn't match other brands' polished nickel hardware. Too bad I didn't go for chrome as I think it would really go better with the brushed nickel hardware. It doesn't matter since I installed it on the back of a 12" deep tall shoe rack in my closet. think the screws should match the finish of the part you are buying. 3) My special servant's staff has been worn on the ball, where it looks like some of the finish has worn away so there are darker gray patches there are chances the finish will still wear off a bit but it's not good quality control if they send a new one, which already has scuffs. Otherwise I'm very happy with this purchase. It's compact and takes up very little space but offers plenty of room An invaluable addition to your closet. I also have a 12" Rev-A-Shelf belted shelf and a 14" Rev-A-Shelf tie/scarf rack. All of these are excellent closet system options.
