I purchased this to replace the 2.8 watt pump in my 2.5 gallon pot fin retreat aquarium. I have a faucet and need a low flow pump. This pump barely pumps water on the lowest setting, but if you move it just a tiny bit it starts squirting out. Also, it's LOUD. For example I hear it upstairs and across 3 rooms. It also doesn't fit in the hose that came with the original Topfin pump, nor is it pinched where the pump goes in. Finally, it has its own power cord, rather than simply plugging into an existing Topfin cord that splits into the LED light and pump.
