This little pump has better flow control than most I've seen. I have used them to make my own internal filters for 2.5 gallon Betta aquariums which have proven to be excellent. And the price was great. Highly recommended for small do-it-yourself ponds.

This little guy came out of the box and worked like a champ! Just what we needed for a little Christmas, well set up. I think the pump itself is only an inch wide and long, but it might be a little off. He is very small. It produces just the right amount of partitions for what we need. I'm so glad I found it!

Great value. I used it to revive an old Aqueon Evolve. The flow can be set very low, making it a great pump for a main battle tank. It's also incredibly quiet since it was installed 3 days ago. *UPDATE* This pump has gotten terribly noisy. It is clean and well protected inside and out. Something is not right. Gonna buy myself a decent Fluval and that's it.

I use it for DIY pet water fountain. I use it with a pump at almost the lowest power and with two different hoses to give the animals a choice of drinking from a bowl, from a trickle of a ball with a pump, or from a light fountain. I have 3 cats and a small dog so they all drink in the same place and I no longer feel like I have to keep the faucet running.

The part shown for 0.5" tubing was not supplied with the pumps. I want them to send in the missing parts but I can't contact anyone. The only option I was offered was to return the pumps. Why should I do this? I just have to give the missing pieces, right? I am assuming this is false advertising and they don't even have a piece for a 0.5 inch tube. Actually, that was the only reason I bought this pump. I assume they know 0.5 inch is popular so they added that part of the image for sale. Beware.

I bought this to transfer water into 5 gallon buckets when I mix salt for my fish tank. He did what had to be done. Noise wasn't a problem for me, but it was relatively quiet. The suction power was sufficient for this size, but I just wanted to move. Unfortunately, this didn't last long. 2 months of easy work, a few hours on the road, maybe 7 or 8 times and it doesn't work anymore. It s cheap. You get what you pay for and now I'm buying something that costs more and will likely last longer.

I purchased this to replace the 2.8 watt pump in my 2.5 gallon pot fin retreat aquarium. I have a faucet and need a low flow pump. This pump barely pumps water on the lowest setting, but if you move it just a tiny bit it starts squirting out. Also, it's LOUD. For example I hear it upstairs and across 3 rooms.
