Review on 10 Pack of RP4993 Seat and Spring Replacements for Delta Faucet Repair Kit by Bradley Stewart

Used the seats/springs to replace a leaking Delta bathroom faucet I fixed about 3 months ago with a similar item and it started leaking again. The springs are made of stainless steel and the seals are made of EPDM rubber or similar. Both appear to be well made. Installation was very easy. This time I also used silicone grease (designed for this purpose) to lubricate the friction surfaces between the seals and the cartridge and faucet O-ring. The old seals leaked so quickly because the part of the old spring against the seal was not flattened or lapped against the rest of the coil and after a series of faucet opens/closes both seals were damaged and leaking. These springs are lapped at both ends; thereby providing a flat smooth surface on both the gasket and the base of the hole holding the spring. Now the valves work much softer than before. Overall very happy with the purchase. I have several Deltas around the house so I now have a few spares in case the need arises. Regardless of the quality/price of the pens, I ordered them on May 15th. They were sent the same day but I only received them yesterday, May 27th. -and this is a Prime member. However, I can't blame the seller or Revain, I believe it was a problem with the carrier.
