Kit contains 2 rings, one 1/4 inch and one thicker which I can't measure. Both are slightly larger in circumference than the o-ring groove, which I measured at 5-3/4 inches. I planted the thicker one on the edge of the filter bottom, just screwed the cap on and it was tight. It's a miracle if it doesn't eventually expire, but not worth returning. I'm not connected to the network and I'm using a demand pump.
