Review on Canson Acrylic Canvas Texture Sheets by Karla Richter

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Ok oil paper. The cheapest way to apply paint to anything.

I've been using this Canson paper for about four years now and I love it! This paper is perfect for teaching and even more intense artwork. I actually prefer this paper to canvas as it doesn't warp and can be framed. Canvas panels tend to warp over the years. It's easy to tear off one page and stick it on cardboard or something that's hard to draw on. Canvas can be expensive and take up a lot of space, but as a beginner you can't go wrong with this oil paper from Canson. with these pads. I recently ordered 3 spacers and at first all 3 spacers came off the lid binding. The main quality assurance issue I've encountered has to do with the paper itself. After some research that I was painting with oil paints, I noticed that there were stains on it that I hadn't seen at first. I didn't use the medium on paper along with the paint, just the paint itself. I came across this while shopping both in store and online now and the pattern varies from sheet to sheet. It's still a good drawing paper, but you might want to look at other substrates, or maybe an MDF canvas board. One thing is for sure, although it is written that acrylic can be taken, I do not recommend it, the paper does not bend well.
