This is a pretty cool LED strip that does more than I expected. It comes with a remote control, a helpful instruction manual and a USB cable. You need to provide a plug, we only use the phone charger plug. There's also an app you can download to control the lights, but it's not required. A button is attached to the USB to change the color and flashing frequency of the lights, or you can use the remote control to change everything from color and sequence, set a timer, or make the lights "dance" to the music. The remote is very easy to use, each button is labeled, but the manual definitely helped me understand everything the flashlights are capable of. I like that I can turn the light on and off at the same time so I don't have to worry about it. The built-in microphone perfectly captures the rhythm of the music. There are so many cool things you can do with these lights. I definitely recommend them!
