Tried everything to make it work. Bad luck

Bought for my baby iguanas. They are not very big yet and I thought it would be good for them. But the pull was useless, and although they were light enough, they fell off every time they climbed onto the hammock. The suction power was terrible. Then I tried it in our bearded dragon tank and it didn't work there either. 3 tanks; all different sizes and types and none will stick. The hammock seemed sturdy as far as I could tell if I could pin it in the cage.
