I've had this meter for a few days now and here are my impressions so far: Pros: First class fit and finish. The display is attractive and easy to read. The operating menu is easy to navigate. Air measurements are continuous and the device responds quickly to changes in air quality. Historical measurements are easily viewed. The monitor can remain connected to a power source for extended monitoring instead of depending on the internal battery charge level. Cons: The instructions that come with the device are a bit vague, especially when it comes to calibration. Example β "The sensors may drift after prolonged use. The user can place the monitor outside with clean air to recalibrate the sensor." So how long is "extended"? How long does it have to be in "clean air" before it calibrates? Does the calibration happen automatically or does it need to be initialized through the menu system? This is just one example of several cases that appear in the instruction manual. How accurate is the instrument? There really is no way of knowing this or any other air quality device, except because, you have a laboratory that can produce known concentrations of gas to test these devices, I will say that it appears to be accurate, based on what it reads on the street, I live in a rural area Area where I think the outdoor air quality is good.Taking outdoor readings after a thunderstorm HCHO and TVOC readings were <0.001 as expected.CO2 reading was 400 which is also expected . In a room with closed windows in an air-conditioned environment, TVOC 3.6 (high) and HCHO 0.065 (normal range) were elevated. With two adult and two medium-sized dogs, the CO2 levels increase as expected. When the monitor was set up in the bedroom, the night value rose to a value of 920 (increased). Since it is mid-July, we only open the windows and turn on the roof fan to air our house in the late evening and early morning. This brings the measured values back into normal ranges quite quickly. As the outside temperature rises, which requires closing the windows and turning on the air conditioning, all values begin to increase in the direction of the pre-ventilation values. While the instruction manual could have been better, I find the air quality meter itself works well. . It doesn't have Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, or an app, but it does have quality build with accurate and useful readings. Reading the specifications in the description shows that this company has put more emphasis on the quality of the components used for the measurement than on connectivity or applications. For these reasons and my experience, I gave it a 5.
