I hesitated for several days before deciding on this carrier or the more fashionable bubble carrier. I'm so glad I chose this one! Arrived quickly and was easy to set up. I left the plastic cover on the sides for extra protection. My cat Saka loves this carrier! He hated his old one, but quickly got used to this one. It is spacious and easy to transport. He can sit in it without any problems and is almost a year old. I keep him away so he can easily get in and out of it whenever he wants and he'll be happy to sleep and play in it even if we're not going anywhere. Once I had to take him on a three hour drive and he never once complained about being locked in it. He just curled up in the corner with his toy rabbit. I like the airflow in it, although it heats up quickly in the sun. This is easily solved in the car by pointing the air vents at it. It's also easy to buckle up in the car by threading the seat belt through the top handle. It's a bit awkward carrying it on your back all the time, but I mostly just carry it by the handle. I love this shop!
