Definitely worth your time and money
I was arguing between this and Twinstar but in the end since I've had Fluval 1.0 for a long time I'd try the improved features of 3.0. Unfortunately, due to my daily schedule (4pm to 12am) I was not able to use the transition features as I can't use them to transition to the next day, but I still like the light. He's definitely bright. Allows you to control the color temperature. The only issue I have with these lights is that they really need to be raised at least 4 inches from the top of the tank. You get the best float spread. Especially for them I bought elevators on Ebay. It gets better with lifting.
