The perfect size for my 10 gallon aquariums and critters. They are on the lighter side which I expected as they are plastic but very easy to move around for larger aquarium dwellers. I bought these for my African clawed frogs and they can kick them around the tank pretty easily so I had to make a small patch in the rock to hold them in place. My other tank was too light and my measles cats took them everywhere. In principle, they are very easy to turn. If you're looking for something sturdier, look elsewhere if you don't want to weigh them down or stick them underground. They have worked well for bringing out some mystery snails and I use them as small pellet soaking bowls.
