I am a big fan of Irwin hand tools, have bought a lot and am very happy with them. Irwin is perfect for most of my tooling needs. Well, I'll be among the first to admit that the Irwin certainly doesn't live up to Klein standards, but they're a lot cheaper and still get the job done perfectly. Still, I love these tongs and all other Irwin tongs. does. Very high quality that you know will last, comfortable handles that you can't get your hands on and lots of power make them great. If you are strong you can get great power from them and they will do any job you ask them to do if you use them properly. In a pinch, you can use it as a hammer when needed without worrying about damaging the tool. Now some people are complaining that Irwin ships overseas and who doesn't. I like buying American as much as anyone, but I refuse to pay double the price for the same quality just because it's Made in the USA. There has been no drop in quality since moving production and I see no quality issues with these or any Irwin instruments new or old. Buy anything from Irwin and you won't be disappointed. These are excellent quality tools that get the job done.
