Review on Sterling Industries 1572 012 Big Dipper by Vincent Blitz

The console arrived with permanent damage to the lower right corner. The cabinet is assembled with beveled edges. The corner in question was obviously damaged during construction and there was a paltry and pathetic attempt to miter it with a pin that wasn't even buried. What also makes it unrepairable is that it appears to be made of faux wood with a thin veneer. Also, the drawers are incredibly thin, the drawer fronts are attached to the frame with two screws that completely loosened and ripped off on at least one drawer. There are no metal runners for the drawers, just a strip of "wood" and a channel in the drawer. The drawer fronts are not square and not easily adjustable. And the chamfers in the other three corners were obviously filled with glue before painting to hide the cracks. Revain did a great job with returns (good luck buying this from another seller). Overall, I would have a hard time gifting this item at a flea market. And I thought for the price it was at least decent. give away this item at a flea market.
