I've been using the timer for a few months, it works well. However, one thing to note during installation: I set the timer to the afternoon and then set the program so that the pool pump turns on at 8:00 a.m. and off at 9:00 p.m. The pump was supposed to turn on in the afternoon, but it just wouldn't turn on. It took me several hours to trace the wires and switches but nothing came of it. Then I called the support. The technician said that was normal. Since this was a new setting and the time had passed 8:00, the timer would remain in its current state (OFF) until the next programmed event. So the next morning he turned on the pump. Apparently a lot of people called about this experience. The timer worked but this software issue took almost half a day to fix and should be an easy fix for the manufacturer. Or at least they could explain it in the instructions. Also, the LED display is very difficult to see on a sunny day.
