The key here is that the gimbal works great IF it's set up correctly. I have a fairly heavy camera and it aligns it well. For the price, this is a good helper to create smoother videos than just holding the camera in your hands. It takes at least 5-10 minutes to set up once you get the hang of it, but it's difficult to get the perfect balance. Forgot to remove the lens cap? Everything has to be rebalanced. reset focus? Balance this whole thing. Change lens? Balance this whole thing. When you first balanced the camera wasn't on and the lens wasn't extended? do it again This means it works well when you have a scheduled recording scheduled and don't need to do much more for it. If you want to take photos from different distances, at different times of day, etc., you have to reckon with having to reconfigure the whole thing every time. but of course it will affect the balance, so you can't knock him down for that. Just something to be aware of. It definitely takes a bit of learning to figure out how to set it up first, too.
