I ordered this because I've lost 25 pounds this year (2019) and I didn't have anything to wear to my family's Christmas performance at church this year - I wanted to order it and I was given it said that it would be here on 27.12. Too bad, so I ordered a few more things just in case and could send something back if necessary. I measured my waist and hips and added an inch or two to make sure I have room if needed. I took a size 10 because a size 12 was an inch or more too big in both places (waist and hips). I was surprised that I received the skirt early! 2 days before I needed him and 5 days before the day he was supposed to be here! I tried it on straight away with a black bodysuit and black suede knee high boots - LOVE it but it was a bit tight on the hips. The material doesn't flex and the lining is smaller than a buffalo blanket. I was on the fence but decided to let it go (I'm still working on my weight loss goal). I always try things on, I'm not sure 2-3 times. I tried it on again with black tights and they fit better (I think tights hold everything like a spanks). Anyway, I sent it back but have it in my closet to try again before making a decision. Unfortunately, what you measure doesn't always mean it will fit right.
