Great for Nintendo Switch Online
I bought this as an alternative to the official, more expensive Nintendo product. I was able to connect via ethernet to play online features with minimal latency for games, mainly Smash Ultimate. Note that sometimes the switch will immediately show an ethernet connection on your switch, and sometimes you may need to put your switch in airplane mode to get that ethernet connection and turn on bluetooth so you can use your Joycons/Pro controller can play
