USE OF SEVERAL LIGHTS PROBLEM AND ADHESIVE DAMAGE TO WALLS. READ BEFORE YOU BUY

If you want to illuminate a dark room with one of these lights then I think it's a 4-5 star buy especially at this price point. My only recommendation is to consider batteries. They're rated for 540 on/off cycles, but I've found that the light output dims much sooner until it's no longer that useful, so using traditional AAs can get expensive. The real problems begin. however, if you want to use more than one light source in the same place. This can easily be a requirement in a large closet and even the product photos show an example of this. You'll find that most of the time one or the other light is on, but not both. The light from the one that turns on first prevents the other from turning on. Sometimes you can hit right on target and both bulbs will light up at the same time, but most of the time you'll only get one. Bottom Line: Where a lightbulb will do, they're great. But for places that need more than one light source, look elsewhere. Remote controlled lights may be your best bet. ALSO: If you are installing the mount on drywall or painted surfaces, the adhesive pad used on these mounts WILL DAMAGE the walls if removed. I found this difficult when removing lights in locations where multiple lights were not working. The paint and top layer of drywall were firmly bonded to the underlay. Another option is screw mounting and each bracket comes with 3 screws and anchors for this purpose. Thank you for taking the time to read my review and I hope it helps you with your purchase decision. If you wish to purchase more than one of these lanterns, visit the manufacturer's website for discounts when purchasing two or more lanterns.
