Get warranty on engines

My factory latches have failed on my 2 door GTI mk6. You don't click randomly and my door just pops open. Installation only takes a minute and is very simple. This is the second time I've replaced the driver and passenger side latches. Unfortunately, I didn't get a guarantee from them. However, this is the second time I have received the guarantee and I am currently waiting for an exchange.
