Frustration - I've tried connecting an old iPad and then an iPhone XR to a regular (non-Apple) TV, but neither work. Screen seems to mirror screens but never connects so doesn't work. It's not an internet/speed issue as I was trying to play downloaded movies from Netflix. No pointing and searching the web should automatically connect, so I don't know why it's not working. The description specifically says it works with Apple products and I paid more to be sure, but it still doesn't work. Disappointing.
