It has more disks which probably makes it better than the 2 disk ones. I installed it and it worked great. However, there were 3 questions.1. There were no instructions. I watch videos on Youtube. Luckily the mechanic took a video of my exact make and model of the Trailblazer. LT 2003. This didn't make things much easier, however, and he even complained that non-genuine parts were being made. All in all I paid $25 plus some spare change though so if it lasts I'll be happy. The whole thing didn't add up at all. I had to think that either I made a mistake or these people were completely drunk. I had to drill a hole to make it fit.3. As if the misalignment of the holes wasn't enough. First I had to cut off the edge. Luckily it was plastic and optional. Spring. 4. actually. Good thing there is no wiring diagram. It probably is, but the packer probably didn't get it. After watching the video, everything became clear. Thanks to this mechanic. Also, the wires appear to match three other wires that I had to cut and splice in color. There wasn't much room to work. I took a few breaks because it was pretty busy and I also didn't have a wire stripper which would have made this that much easier. I put a lot of tape on it. Bonus. This fixed the issue where the fan stayed on after the car was turned off. Also, the air seemed to bleed better and was more responsive from level to level. Not sure if it was my imagination or if I was just glad it was fixed and I didn't have to pull the fuse every time I stopped. This would get 5 stars if I didn't have to do any hacks. and drilling. I wouldn't mind paying an extra $5 or $10 if it was built right either, because that would make the job so much more difficult.
