For those of you with extendable curtain rods and large installations this will not work. However, there is a very cheap solution - replace the rod with something that works! Go to your local hardware store, Home Depot, Lowe's, ACE, etc. Look for 3/4" Electrical Metal Tubing (EMT). It replaced my rod, can be sprayed on for all your needs and works great compared to the telescoping rod which I originally had. Total tube and grommet cost was less than $20 for a 10" rod. Price compared to OEM rods was $100-$200. After replacing the rod, those worked Curtains immaculate. Highly recommended.
