Bought two of these to meet in the middle. Only works on one side of the pole. I tried a few times to get it right and finally gave up. Both returned. Doesn't work if you have an expandable stem due to different sizes.

Love this little device! It was very easy to set up. Just follow the step-by-step instructions. It took 5 minutes. I set a schedule in the app so that the curtains open at the same time as the alarm clock and close in the evening. I've had it for about 3 months now. Works perfectly.

If you are looking for robot curtains with a rod I would reconsider if you have a rod with two size extensions. Used as a kick starter and totally useless on two different curtain rods, both had a transition to extend the rods. The curtain robots opened but could not move on the walkway, although I taped the joints to reduce the difference. 4 hours wasted trying to get this damn thing to work is too much wasted time. Save yourself the hassle and move on.

I had high hopes for this smart curtain operator. But I'm a little disappointed. Does not work with adjustable cornice. Basically it gets stuck at the adjustment point where the smaller bar slides into the larger bar. There is a jack there, but the smart bot cannot clear the obstacle. It gets stuck in every direction every time. The moral of the review is, if you're using an adjustable round curtain rod, don't buy this actuator. It will not work.

In my opinion, the price doesn't match the price. The costs add up largely because of the deceptive advertising that works with Alexa, Google, and Siri. It has always been made clear that you need to buy an additional hub. In addition, the quality is cheap. It seems that in a few years the locks will break or fall off. The cost I would consider would be $50-$60 not $100. For $100 you should have gotten a remote control and it actually worked with Alexa, Google etc. Now I have to buy a hub +$40,

For those of you with extendable curtain rods and large installations this will not work. However, there is a very cheap solution - replace the rod with something that works! Go to your local hardware store, Home Depot, Lowe's, ACE, etc. Look for 3/4" Electrical Metal Tubing (EMT). It replaced my rod, can be sprayed on for all your needs and works great compared to the telescoping rod which I originally had. Total tube and grommet cost was less than $20 for a 10" rod. Price compared to OEM rods

I've been watching a lot of videos on YouTube and thought yes this would be perfect for a set of curtains I have that are always hard to reach. Installation was very easy and the app is very helpful. The problem was that the motor that powers the bot sounds like it's straining from the start. As the bot started moving our curtains, it moved slower and slower until it stopped. I have HEAVY cotton pleated curtains. The curtains are 12 feet high and each pleated panel is 8 feet wide. AFTER ROD CLEANING. Openers work perfectly. It would be easier on the system if I had rings with rollers or a low friction surface on the rings. I need a few days to play with the light intensity automation. If it works well.
