*Update* I've had this gate open for about 2 months now and my almost 2 year old aggressive boy literally pushed and pulled this gate very hard and it stayed in place! Excellent quality and durability! We only mounted it with pressure and WITHOUT screws. So far, so good. My friend had no problem installing and assembling the gate, it looks like it will hold up pretty well but time will tell and I can't rate its durability yet as I've only had it a few hours have. Looks very nice and easy to open with one hand in two quick movements, press once and pull the button forward which releases the latch, then pull the latch up. My 6 year old daughter can open up to get through if needed and with love that I no longer have to lift her through the old gate! It opens in both directions, or you can fit a stopper at the bottom so it only opens in one direction (whichever you prefer), or you can fit both stops if you don't want the gate to latch, which will then interfere with the gate leaf swinging in all directions!
