If you only ever cut small parts these are great. They cut metal with ease, with enough leverage for softer metals. If you need to make longer parts (10 inches or more) you will find that it is only good for rough machining at first. You will also need to deburr the edge and file it lightly. Not the cleanest cut, but easy to use. Highly recommended if you are making small jewelry or just need to cut small and thin sheets of metal. Any cuts longer than 6 inches or so may make you think of a saw or large pair of scissors and use them after the first cut to clean.
