Review on 🎞️ RetroViewer Image3D Custom Viewfinder Reel by Johnathan Cash

UPDATE: I am updating my review after speaking to a company that offered a replacement spool with expedited shipping or compensation for a defective spool. I appreciate customer service owning a defective product. I will try to order the reel again in the future and will update my review when I receive it and can confirm its condition. I bought this as a birthday gift because it is so unique and nostalgic I had very high expectations. Honestly I won't buy it again. ADVANTAGES: - Delivery was lightning fast: I ordered the viewer on 14/06, it was delivered on 15/06, I ordered the reel on 15/06 and received the reel on 21/06 - It was very easy and fun to create a reel on their website. I used a desktop computer, but you can also create videos on mobile devices. CONS: There were a few black scratches on the reel pictures. At first I thought it was part of the photo, but when I closed one eye I didn't see any scratches on the other eye's image. Upon very close inspection, scratches from misprinting the image on the spool were visible. I have chosen not to attach photos to protect the privacy of the people in the photos. - The viewer himself arrived dusty/dirty and spoils the viewing experience. The attached photos show what the viewer looks like without the coil. There is a dark spot/dirt on one eye. I tried blowing into it like a nintendo cartridge to get rid of dirt but it didn't work. Then I realized that it is almost impossible to clean the inside of the viewer yourself. - The box it arrived in is not suitable for a gift at all - flimsy, flimsy and a little sticky. - Coils are expensive ($15) for so little quality. and blurry images. So what could have been a very cool gift now just sits on my desk while I struggle to find a new gift. I can't return the viewer because I'll lose the $10 credit I earned, and I can't request a replacement because it won't be delivered by my birthday. So disappointed.
