Review on 15W CISNO DC 12V IP67 Waterproof Transformer Power Supply Driver For LED Lights by Dewey Galyon
Lasted almost 6 months then blew
This was used with a 900mA 12v LED light strip, so well within the specs of the driver ( a 10.8W load ).Ran from August'18 through to Feb'19, almost 6 months before it failed. I opened it up to have a look and cleaned off the ceramic and silicon to see if I could determine what failed. Pretty easy to spot the 8 pin DIP IC burned out and the second pic shows how the IC case is cracked. FAIL.
