Difficult to put lids on 4 oz mugs

These are the most difficult mugs to ever have a lid. I struggled and luckily I only had 5 lids and there wasn't anything in there that could easily spill. I tried every possible way, and when I used too much force, the walls of the cup collapsed. I just kept trying and slowly getting through and closing their lids. The lids seem a bit too small. I was disappointed to say the least. I opened one today and immediately put the lid back on, low down and lo and behold, it just snapped back into place! I like their size and they ship fast but I think if I try to use them in the future I'll try putting the lids on before filling and see if that helps, maybe stretch the lids a bit.
