This card will unlock your musical potential exponentially. it adds bass to speakers and headphones, making them louder and clearer. A great feature is that if you have this baby plugged in and have "Play from Computer Speakers" turned off, if you accidentally pull the headphone jack out of the hole, you won't be able to play music through the built-in laptop using the cheap speakers. and feeling embarrassed in a quiet library and looking weird because of your loud gangsta rap, after which you struggle to get to the mute button, but windows decides to freeze and you can't turn it off. Either way, it's a great investment for any music lover. I broke the first one I had by dropping my computer on its side and crushing it, but it was so good I had to buy another. Luckily for me, the card took most of the hit and saved my computer.
