I was very happy with this light when I received it. For a cheap flashlight it has an excellent luminous flux and is quite well made. I would not have expected such unusual features from more expensive devices. I'm happy with the light that just works and this one works and works. Some reviews didn't like the plastic parts, but as long as they're sturdy, they don't bother me in the slightest. The only issue I had was a broken Bowens mounting pin. I don't know when it happened but I noticed it the first time I moved the flashlight around in the soft case. On site I went to assemble the light and found that the Bowens lock release pin was broken. I had to use a tool to toggle the modifier on and off. It seems to be a very weak part of the world. It may be one of the plastic parts that could have been a bad choice. A more durable metal part for this use would be better. I will continue to use the flashlight but I don't think I will use any other. I would recommend anyone using this flashlight not to use a soft case when transporting. It has fragile parts.
