I am new to watercolor and spoiled by expensive watercolors from German and French artists (there are few of them, mostly single-pigment colours). Since I love metallic colors, I chose this set. Excellent colors, rich colors and very iridescent. My other metallic colors and metallic crayons are very faded. This set is very well presented. Love the white metal lid which is a great drip tray. The halves are fun too - I plan to use them later for my tube paints. The colors mix well. Small black and white color sample cards are very welcome. I wish there were more for my other colors. This is a great value product and not the cheap metallic paint kit you can find elsewhere. Definitely recommend.
