Review on Prepara Evak Fresh Saver, Medium-Tall Airless Canister With Black Handle, 2.3 Quart, Clear by Adam Webbie

I liked the product and noted that it said to hand wash lid so I did. Water got into the tiny holes on the top and bottom of the lid.I tried to shake it out thinking that there is moisture in the lid that would migrate to the ground coffee in the container portion. I let it dry upside down overnight and there is still moisture clinging to the holes. Will wait it out and hope evaporation will work. What do they mean "handwash"-wiping it down or actually submerging it in water? This information is not on the amazon page or on the product website. There are directional arrows on the inside (underside) of the lid that seem to indicate that you can twist it but that seems to be a "no go".
