Review on πŸ–¨οΈ Nozzles Printer Extruder: Makerbot vs Creality - A Comparative Analysis by James Trapkin

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I love these nozzles.

I really like these tips. A friend recently recommended me some high-priced hardened steel nozzles. 2 x 0.4 nozzles for $30. And I absolutely hated her. They kept clogging and the print quality was unpredictable at best. I threw them away and went back to those brass fittings. These tips wear out quickly with each abrasive fiber. But that's to be expected from any brass nozzle. However, the print quality is good enough and they're cheap enough to throw away after a few weeks of use. It's the best they have. They're inexpensive, and out of about 50 nozzles I've used, I've only had one with a defect that affects printing. If you want a cheap brass nozzle that prints great and you don't mind throwing it away when it wears out, get this one. I always keep at least a dozen of these on hand. In fact, the friend who recommended the expensive baits I mentioned earlier ran out and needed a bait. I gave him some of these and now he doesn't use anything else.

Pros
  • High test scores for hold and durability
Cons
  • Not as thick as the others
