They are great but I couldn't use them. I think the sizes (1/8, 1/4, 3/8 and 1/2 inch) actually refer to the size of the hex key required for installation versus the actual plug diameter. My cylinder head had a 9mm (smooth) bore which required a plug. However, the "1/8 inch" (3mm) plug was the only one small enough to fit. I ended up pushing in the "freeze plug" instead of drilling and tapping a wider hole in the cylinder head.
