I have traveled twice with this product and it has never been blocked. I've fiddled with it a few times since I've been back and any pressure from above (much less than you'd expect from normal airline baggage handling) and it collapses, rendering it useless and exposing the very bats it's against should protect even more damage! I hope this is a one off issue with the product and that the seller will provide a replacement. Funnily enough, the "refund window" expired about 1.5 months after purchase; I think with a travel/luggage product it's incredibly common for someone to buy one of these and then leave for at least a few months before using it for the first time. Please contact me and I will be happy to change my rating and comments if the replacement works as stated in the listing.
